
PATIENT EDUCATION
1st Visit for Children
The Canadian Dental Association recommends that, within 6 months of the eruption of the first tooth or around the age of one year, the assessment of young children by a dentist. This first visit is intended to enable your dentist and /or hygienist to examine your child before a dental problem arises. Afterwards, every six or twelve months, depending on the frequency set for the individual needs of your child. This will allow the dentist to catch small problems early. However, make an appointment sooner for pain or other concerns.
Sterilization
In order for you to feel safe, one of our priorities is to perform an impeccable sterilization. Our Autoclave and STATIM system provide an exemplary sterilization.
The clinic is a participant in a program to monitor the functioning of its sterilizer on a routine basis. NB Bioscience Canada, through HANSAmed Limited, is a regime of infection control undertaken to ensure the health and safety of the patients and staff. The sterilizer monitoring procedure is recommended by the Canadian Dental Association.
In addition, all team members follow regularly continuing education courses in this field.
